Microsoft continues to innovate, making life easier for businesses with Windows 11.
If you often switch between your phone and PC for work, you’ll appreciate the new “Hand Off” feature currently in testing.
Here’s how it works: Imagine you’re in a meeting or on the go, working on a document in Microsoft Word or another app on your phone. When you return to your PC, a notification will prompt you to continue working on the same document, enabling a seamless transition between devices.
This functionality is powered by OneDrive’s syncing capabilities. It’s already compatible with Android phones, and while iPhone compatibility hasn’t been confirmed yet, it’s likely on the horizon.
The ability to switch between devices without losing your place can be a significant advantage, especially for remote teams.
Although “Hand Off” isn’t available just yet, it shows great promise as a valuable business tool.
It also shows why you should always apply updates – get the latest features first.
